Our Story
We are excited to introduce our new showroom, believed to be unique on the South Coast of England. Showcasing products and designs for bathrooms and kitchens along with accompanying accessories and easy access ramp designs, all associated with assisted and easy access living for the home and the workplace.
By way of introduction thorough our sister company Northfield Property Solutions who have been working in conjunction with local Councils for over 15 years supplying and installing accessible bathrooms, kitchens and ramps under the Disabled Facilities Grant system, as well as undertaking adaptation work for private customers, hence we believed it a natural path to open a showroom offering these products to our customers to view and trial.
We have often felt that purchasing products from a brochure is not always ideal. The aim with Northfield Adaptations showroom will be to physically show and demonstrate the adaptive living products available direct to our clients. This ‘first-hand’ experience will enable our customers to make an informed decision based on their own individual needs and requirements prior to purchasing essential equipment aimed to improve their living facilities at home or in the workplace.
Our experience in this field means that we often work in delicate and sensitive situations and realise that empathy and understanding is required at all times.
The aim of the showroom is to remove some of the stress from our clients by being able to physically show them the equipment that is available rather than choosing from a brochure or on-line, thus offering personal guidance and advice.
Additionally, we are opening our doors to the medical profession, Councils, Occupational Therapists, Care Homes, Housing Associations, bathroom fitters, etc; essentially any business or organisation who has a requirement to use or recommend adaptive living fixtures and fittings in their line of work - where they can visit, try and recommend products to their clients.
We are pleased to be working alongside AKW Medicare, the UK’s leading manufacturer of accessible bathroom, kitchen and daily living products for the elderly and individuals with reduced mobility. A comprehensive range of budget to high-end products will be displayed within the showroom.
A selection of tiles and safety flooring will also be on show and further advise offered to customise the rooms specifications for a desired colour scheme.
Initially we will be working on an appointment only basis, particularly during the current climate in order that we can give each and every client our individual help and attention during their visit to our showroom enabling us to supply a bespoke quotation for each installation.
